It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We reflect on Her Majesty’s 70-year reign as one full of grace, humility, and unparalleled dedication to service. Her ardent support for the NHS and those working on the front line will be remembered by the entire nation.
Medical schools and university hospitals across the country will be sharing their memories of Her Majesty’s visits over the coming days and mourn this great loss with the rest of the United Kingdom.
Our deepest sympathies are with the Royal Family and those affected by the sad news at this time.
