Since its inception in 1998, the Association of UK University Hospitals has brought together national experts from across the NHS to improve the future of healthcare. As 2019 begins, the organisation is renewing its voice as the representative body for university hospitals, changing its name to the University Hospital Association.
We have also launched this new website to makes clear the role of the organisation and the special role its members have in the health service as centres of both research and undergraduate education.
To see the structure of the organisation and the areas of university hospitals overseen by each of its groups, see the Groups section.
To learn a brief history of the organisation and how its membership has expanded, see the Who we are page.
